East Lancashire Hospice was pleased to receive a grant that will pay for half the work that is currently being carried out at the Hospice to make our patients more comfortable.

This will include upgrading patient rooms and adding en suite facilities to all bedrooms, making all rooms larger and enabling families and carers to stay. Doors will be made wider to enable beds to be taken into the garden for patients who are unable to get out of bed.

The following is a list of items that we need to re-furnish the patient areas, including bedrooms, lounge, counselling, family room, overnight stay, and conservatory to make them as comfortable as we possibly can.
