A gift in your Will (sometimes called a legacy) enables the Hospice to continue our special way of caring for local people. It helps East Lancashire Hospice to continue its commitment to providing the highest standards of care to patients, families and carers and can help us to develop our services further.
It could also have tax benefits. If your estate is liable for Inheritance Tax, you could reduce the amount due by choosing to give to your chosen charity.
You can either leave a fixed sum (known as a 'Pecuniary Legacy') or part or all of your estate once the other gifts have been distributed (known as a 'Residuary Legacy')
Remember, your help really does make a difference to peoples lives.
