Volunteer Supporter Role

ROLE: ‘Supporter’ for Bereavement Support Service DROP-IN sessions

We are currently reviewing the Bereavement Support Service and are in the process of setting up DROP - IN sessions within the community as well as one based at the East Lancashire Hospice.

In order to expand this service we are looking to recruit a dedicated team of Volunteers to help deliver a positive and supportive experience. Full training will be provided; you will be supported throughout your role and will receive regular supervision.

 

If you are already a volunteer for the East Lancashire Hospice and interested in this role please

submit a letter to Lynn Montgomery, Bereavement Services Coordinator, East Lancashire Hospice,

Park Lee Road, BB2 3NY with details of your commitment and availability, your suitability and

any relevant experience that you may have.

 

If you are not already a Volunteer with East Lancashire Hospice please complete and return the

application form below with a letter detailing your commitment and availability, your suitability

and any relevant experience that you may have to Lynn Montgomery, Bereavement Services

Coordinator, East Lancashire Hospice, Park Lee Road, BB2 3NY.

 

All volunteers must have an Enhanced CRB and the post is subject to an initial review period.
