Clear Communication Skills 2017 - 2018

Introduction

East Lancashire Hospice is proud to announce the dates venue’s and times for the CLEARER communication skills education offered in partnership with the following organisations

  • Pendleside Hospice
  • East Lancashire Hospice

Communication skills are vital to delivering safe, effective, responsive and compassionate care.  The CLEARER communication skills programme has been developed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide open, honest compassionate care in practice.  Candidates can select the level of course that best suits their skills and experience completing one or more of the three workshops

Funding has been received so that this course can be offered free of charge to all those working in Pennine Lancashire for Hospice’s or NHS organisations for 2017-18 ONLY so please book a place as soon as possible

There is high demand for places on our courses and where necessary we will create a waiting list.  Those on the waiting list will be offered a place on the event of a cancellation or another date being provided

Please note our booking conditions detailed below, I am sure you will understand we need to apply these consistently to ensure the equity and cost effectiveness of our provision

  • Bookings should be made at least 2 weeks prior to the session date
  • Full payment, where required must be paid at least 2 weeks before the date of the session, failure to pay will result in cancellation of the place
  • All bookings will receive a confirmation email
  • It is acceptable to transfer the place to another member of staff within the same organisation should the booked candidate be unable to attend
  • There will be a £50 charge for any cancellations received within 2 weeks of the session date, regardless of the reason for the cancellation
  • There will be a £50 charge for any candidates that fail to attend the session
  • Failure to pay outstanding fees will result in no further bookings being accepted from the organisation until payment is made in full
