East Lancs Hospice

East Lancashire Hospice is a registered charity, founded in 1984. We support and care for patients with a life limiting illness, their families and others close to them. We provide this in a number of ways; at the hospice and in people’s own homes across our community of Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.

With approximately 120 employees and over 250 volunteers, our people are our biggest asset whom we value tremendously. Our services to the local community would not be possible without our motivated and caring workforce who always strive to deliver excellence in all that they do. The hospice is a unique and special place, kindness and compassion are qualities that run throughout the hospice and our people truly believe in what we do.

Corporate Fundraiser

Following the growth of the Income Generation Department, we are recruiting for a Corporate Fundraiser to join our fast moving team.

The Corporate Fundraiser will be a motivated and confident individual who will build relationships with existing corporate supporters, whilst seeking opportunity to meet new corporate supporters. They will work closely with the Fundraising and Lottery Team Leader on new corporate fundraising and networking.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will need to have a full clean driving license, with access to their own vehicle. They will need to be organised in their day to day tasks and have basic computer skills. Being confident in communicating to different groups of people is a privilege, and will help within the role of speaking to businesses about East Lancashire Hospice and their corporate support.

What we offer

This post is 20hrs flexible over 7 days, as the fundraising team do attend community events over some weekends. The salary for this role on a pro rata basis is £10,970 with benefits of being part of a strong working team, full support from experienced managers and the availability to attend training sessions.
