Light Up a Life at Home
We would like to invite you to stand with us and others who will be remembering loved ones and making a Light Up A Life dedication this year.
This is a time that can join us all together across our community in honour of their memory.
This year as we are not able to do this in person, we hope that we can still create this in a slightly different way than usual by offering the following options from which you are able to choose.
Make a dedication on the East Lancashire Hospice Night Sky by uploading a message and image for your loved one and see their star shine bright over the festive period.
Everyone who makes a dedication and sponsors a star will receive a beautiful Light Up a Life Card by post featuring the name of the person the star is dedicated to. You can then keep this in a special place or forward it onto family and friends.
When you make a LUAL dedication, a light will be illuminated on the Night Sky…
Purchase a Light up a Life at Home pack and join us on Facebook Live, Monday 21 December at 6:30pm as we light our lights in memory of those who cannot be with us this time of year.
In your pack you will receive a tea light candle, which we encourage you to light alongside us on Monday 21st December at 6:30pm, together with a commemorative card bearing the name of your loved one. You will also receive a pop-out dedication star that can be hung on the Hospice Light Up A Life Tree or placed on your own tree together with a booklet that includes lyrics to the song ‘All You Need Is Love’ recently sung by hospice patients and volunteers.
Please note: boxes will not be posted out until begining of November

Light Up A Life is for everyone who has lost someone close to them – children, husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, friends. Let us come together at 6:30pm on Monday 21st December 2020 in our own homes and light a candle to remember together.
Every dedication made ensures we are able to continue to provide a special way of caring for our patients at East Lancashire Hospice.
