Hospice Will Week is approaching - do you need to make a Will?

will week

Take advantage of the East Lancashire Hospice Will Week when our supporting solicitors have generously agreed to waive their normal fee to write a standard Will, in return for a making a donation to East Lancashire Hospice.

How does it work?
All you need to do is complete a request form either online, a paper form from the hospice or one of our shops, or call 01254 733410. Once we receive your request you will be sent a pack. This contains al lthe information you need including the participating solicitors' details, a Will Week voucher and other important information.

When do I contact the solicitor?
This must be done in Will Week itself, which runs from 20-24 October 2014. Requesting a pack can be done at any time using the methods above.

When and how do I make my donation?
Once your Will has been made, you will be given a donation envelope. This must be completed with your details and handed to your Solicitor who will pass it directly to the hospice. If you pay tax, we can also claim gift aid on your donation to make it worth 25% more, so for every £100, gift aid makes it worth £125 (please complete the details on the front of the envelope.)

How much should I give?
For your guidance writing a Will can cost approximately £75 plus VAT per person and Wills approximately £150 plus VAT per couple.

Please request a pack prior to contacting the solicitors.
