Marathon man sets off on 32 mile run

Think you've got a tiring day ahead? Spare a thought for Owen McGill who set off on a 32-mile run this morning from Lower Darwen to Fleetwood!
As if that isn't hard enough, the 46 year old from Darwen is also breaking 18 wooden boards with his bare hands on the way round! He's hoping to complete the challenge in 6 hours and raise over £1,000 in memory of his son's mother Sarah Glover who was cared for in the hospice.
Take a look at his sponsor page if you think this incredible feat is worth a couple of pounds.
Best of luck Owen - we saw him half a mile in and he looked very strong!
Here he is breaking his first board and setting off, cheered on by friends and family.
