When a vote was taken amongst the 50 staff at the East Lancashire office of solicitors Napthens last year to decide which charity to support, one came out head and shoulders above the others – East Lancashire Hospice. And once again the office at Darwen House, Walker Office Park, Blackburn, is supporting the hospice’s Corporate Challenge in 2018.
Last year it raised just over £1,000 by holding in-office fundraisers like dress-down days once a month, cake sales etc. The most popular event was the Partners Car Wash where the Blackburn office partners washed staff cars in their lunch break! The Napthens’ team is currently drawing up a campaign plan and calling for a range of ideas from colleagues to create a fundraising schedule

Oliver McCann, employment & HR partner and head of Napthens’ East Lancashire office, said: “We are currently preparing a busy fundraising schedule for the 2018 Corporate Challenge and in the meantime we do have charity dress down days each month and food events in the office always go down really well!”
