Nybble Information Systems
The company might be called Nybble but its performance is biting huge chunks out of the world of digital services!
Based in Mincing Lane, Blackburn, the one-stop IT solutions firm offers a wide spectrum of services and has recently added SEO, content writing and social media management.
Nybble Information Systems was established more than 20 years ago by Ram Gupta who is still the inspirational head of the company. Apart from staff at the Blackburn headquarters the company has employees off site around the UK and an international software development team. It was Ram’s idea to join the corporate challenge.
His philosophy is that as the business develops and grows bigger he and his staff should celebrate by launching a community project. After meeting representatives of the hospice and discovering the amazing work carried out there, he decided that the corporate challenge measured up precisely to his project plan.
His belief is that he should give back to the community that has helped to make his business successful.
One of his managers Jill Wells said: “We all really enjoy working for Ram and he has made it clear he expects us to win the Corporate Challenge so we are going to have to concentrate our efforts on coming up with some great ways of raising funds.“Ram has told us he is full of ideas – and then he winked! So goodness knows what it may involve! But he is very hands on so I am sure he will be leading from the front in some way or another.“All we do know is that we are all in the challenges together and that it is going to be lots of fun.”
Nybble’s business is spread throughout the UK and a lot of concentration is writing software applications for the sales side of the automotive industry. But other services include IT remote and on-site support for small to multi-site businesses and educational establishments.
Areas where Nybble operates are IT services for business, public and health sector, automotive, education and home. It also offers outsourced services, data and disaster recovery, project management and consultancy and web design.
For those of you wondering, by the way, in digital terminology a nybble is half a byte!
