We have an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking, enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse with substantial experience in palliative care to join our friendly and supportive hospice community team.

With recent experience in the delivery of specialist palliative care you will demonstrate excellent standards of specialist assessment, care planning and evaluation of inter­ven­tions to ensure the needs and choices of people accessing hospice community services are met.

You will provide the clinical leadership necessary to ensure high quality, evidence based specialist and supportive palliative, care is delivered with care, compassion and dignity.­    Whilst leading an internal team of Hospice CNS Associates and support staff you will work as a positive, pro-active, innovative and motivational team leader and exemplar role model providing high quality specialist palliative and end of life care that and meets the identified/­complex needs of patients and those that matter to them.

You will have well developed critical thinking and advanced commu­nica­tion skills and the ability and experience to lead on the development and delivery of formal and informal education and audit.­   

You will hold post registration quali­fica­tions in palliative care and/or a clinical field relevant to the role and be a Nurse Independent Prescriber or be willing to undertake this in post.
