Stephanie Clark is holding a fundraising evening at St Mary's Parish Centre on Lock Street in Oswaldtwistle.
She wanted to do a sponsored head shave for the hospice, but having been told by many people that they would sponsor me more not to do it, she has decided to set a challenge to raise £500 before 10pm on the evening. If this is reached, she will not shave her head. To sponsor Stephanie follow this link to her justgiving page: http://www.justgiving.com/Stephanie-Clark2 There will be a potato pie supper and raffle and entry is only £2.
Stephanie's father was treated at the hospice and she describes the hospice as an amazing place. Stephanie says: "I have first hand experience of their wonderful caring work. My dad spent the last week of his life at the hospice and words cannot express how wonderful all the staff are there. It is like a tranquil oasis in a storm. They made my dad's last week of life calm and pain free and I was so glad that this place exists. I just want the Hospice to go on supporting cancer patients and their families for many more years to come. So in my dad's memory please be as generous as you can."
