Starlight Memories Walk 2017
To celebrate 50 years of the hospice movement, East Lancashire Hospice is inviting the whole community to take part in our Starlight Memories Walk on Saturday 8 July 2017, the first event in the hospice's history to start and finish at the hospice.
The Starlight Memories walk will be open to everyone - men, women and children over the age of 6. It is not a challenge, instead it is a walk to reflect and remember loved ones in our community.
- Walkers will set off from the hospice at 9pm after being greeted by 2BR in the garden marquee. The route turns left out of the hospice gates then guided by marshalls on a walk of reflection and memories.
- We encourage all entrants to write the name of anyone they wish their memory walk to be dedicated to, on the walk t-shirt and on your candle that will be placed at the end of the walk in the hospice gardens.
- Every participant will recieve a sponsorship form, route map, a special event t-shirt.
- All entrants must sign in. The fully marshalled event gets underway at 9pm (registration from 7:30pm for all entrants) the walkers start and finish at the hospice.
