W and G Pollard and Conveyor and Elevator, who are based at the same location, are joining forces to complete the Corporate Challenge, making it more interesting for everyone!

What is the nature of your business and the area you cover?            

W and G Pollard:      We are sheet metal fabricators, specialise in Stainless steel, Aluminium and Mild steel.  Most of our customers are local or within Lancashire area.

Conveyor & Elevator:     We are manufacturers of Screw Conveyors, Augers, Bucket Elevators and ancillary parts for mining, food processing, water treatment, waste treatment, quarrying.

The  aim of both companies is to provide a comprehensive, first class service from supply of individual items through to design and manufacture.

Why are you taking part in this year’s East Lancashire Hospice Corporate Challenge?

East Lancs Hospice holds a special place in our hearts within my family and we have signed up to help as our local hospice and have some fun raising money along the way.

 What does your company have planned for the four month challenge?

Together we have started to plan our activities. Up to now we have planned raffles, a tombola, a bake sale, Easter egg basket hampers, and sweepstakes for the upcoming Cheltenham and Grand National festivals.

We are sure we will think of even more!
