Why is your business a supporter of East Lancashire Hospice?

Pendle Doors wanted to be involved in a local charity, so we searched which one to support and asked all our employees which charity they would like us to be involved with and help to support. The overwhelming winner was East Lancashire Hospice. We discovered that the Hospice had supported some members of the staff and their family members and it was a united decision to support East Lancashire Hospice.

We have thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Corporate Challenge for the past two years coming both 2nd and 3rd on the leader board however the real winners were ELH.

What does being an Enterprise Hero mean to you?

Though staff have chosen another charity to support this year, we still want to be involved with the Hospice helping wherever possible and being the First Enterprise Hero means we have that opportunity to do so.

Why should other Companies become an Enterprise Hero?

The Hospice is an amazing charity. The staff are amazing and the volunteers giving their time are incredible. The facilities are fantastic and I would recommend a visit to the retreat cafe.
