B McDermott and Son ( lancs ) Ltd. has been in business in the Accrington area for over 40 yrs. We carry out various
projects from extensions , full refurbishments , to smaller jobs , which involve the majority of trades . We also have regular commercial clients ranging from Councils, housing associations, samaritans along with many others.
The other side to our business is STATUS INTERIORS , which we specialise in Kitchens ,offices ,bedrooms ranging from budget to high end, we have a fully fitted showroom with 6 displays based on our SECOND NATURE approved showroom status .

Why is your business a supporter of East Lancashire Hospice?
We have supported the east lancs hospice cause for a few reasons , not least seeing the good work they do to support the unfortunate people who have illnesses which impact their life , the facilities are tremendous and a credit to you . We have all in some way been touched by relatives /friends with debilitating illnesses and it is good to know the support is there when needed . I think the work you do is fantastic .
What does being an Enterprise Hero mean to you?
Being involved as an enterprise hero gives us satisfaction knowing we are helping out , all be it in a small way to provide the services that you do .

I think other companies should become an enterprise hero as they would be supporting a fantastic cause , that most of us will be touched by at some stage in our lives and can only be a good thing to know the help is there .
