Events Fundraiser
This post is a new role within the Income Generation Team and is an exciting opportunity for East Lancashire Hospice to expand on their existing events calendar. Our goal is to grow income year on year through a range of different events which will appeal to a wide range of people within our community.

The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will have experience in event planning, with strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills. They will be creative, results-oriented, and passionate about their work. They will pay close attention to planning, implementing and evaluating to ensure events are measurable and successful.

East Lancs Hospice
East Lancashire Hospice is a registered charity, founded in 1984. We support and care for patients with a life limiting illness, their families and others close to them. We provide this in a number of ways; at the hospice and in people’s own homes across our community of Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.

With approximately 120 employees and over 250 volunteers, our people are our biggest asset whom we value tremendously. Our services to the local community would not be possible without our motivated and caring workforce who always strive to deliver excellence in all that they do. The hospice is a unique and special place, kindness and compassion are qualities that run throughout the hospice and our people truly believe in what we do.

What we offer
This role is full time (37.5hrs a week) and the salary is £24,264. There will be opportunities to hybrid work when necessary, but the role will be mainly office based working with the Income Generation team.

The successful candidate will be fully supported by an experienced Head of Fundraising and Director of Income Generation and Marketing.
