East Lancashire Hospice opened its furniture warehouse in Brunswick Street, Blackburn in April 2010. The warehouse sells furniture, household goods, electrical items, bric-a-brac and much more; it is one of those places where you need to keep popping in and you might just be able to pick up a bargain!.
As one customer put it, "its a hidden gem - everyone needs to know about this place!"
The warehouse is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10am - 4pm. Saturday 10am-1pm
The warehouse also doubles up as a donation and recycling centre making it really easy to drop off donations for the shops; there is plenty of free parking right outside the door and the volunteers will help you unload your car. All the donations are sorted ready to be sent out to our other East Lancashire Hospice shops making sure that we have the right items to be sold in the right place at the right time. It has also increased the amount of goods that we can accept to be recycled - since the warehouse opened the shop incomes from recycling have trebled.
We are always looking for donations of good quality furniture and household items - if you are unable to transport the items to our warehouse that we wish to donate then please ring us on 01254 680520 and he will arrange to have the items collected from you.
