Summer Solstice

We have paired up with Lancashire Mind, along with other amazing charities, to bring you the Summer Solstice Walking Challenge!
From sunrise to sunset, participants will come together to walk, talk, and support one another, raising funds for local services.
This challenge is about recognising that everyone has ups and downs, and showing that with the right support around you, it’s possible to keep going through the tougher moments.
Event Details:
Location: Witton Park Arena – Athletics track – Witton Country Park, Preston Old Road, Blackburn BB2 2TP
Time: 04:35am Sunrise – 09:45pm Sunset (approximately)
What to expect:
- A full day of walking and wellbeing activities
- Live music and entertainment
- Refreshments available on site
- Support from local charities and community groups
Prices and Registration:
Price: £50.00
You can take part as an individual, join an existing team, or create your own team. The £50.00 fee covers your individual place, t-shirt, medal and refreshments.
