About Us
Virtual Drop In Sessions
Have you got questions about Hospice care? We Are Here to Help.
Navigating care and support for a life-limiting illness can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure it out alone.
What We Can Help With
- Understanding Services: Learn what services the Hospice offers, how they work together, and how the Hospice works alongside other services to support people with illnesses that cannot be cured (palliative or life-limiting illness).
- Planning Ahead: Ask questions whether you need support today or are planning for the future.
- Asking for Others: You can drop in to ask a question for yourself, or on behalf of a friend or family member.
- Long-Distance Support: Because modern families often live miles apart, you are welcome to drop in even if you live elsewhere, provided you are enquiring on behalf of someone living in Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn, or the Ribble Valley.
Please Note: these sessions cannot provide medical advice or triage.
When & Where
We are running our virtual drop-in sessions twice per month, offering both a daytime and an evening option for people aged 18+.
The next virtual drop-in sessions will be held:
- Wednesday 28th October 6pm – 7:30pm
- Tuesday 10th November 11:30am – 1pm
No appointment is necessary – simply drop in. No enquiry is too small!
Hospice care ensures no one must face a life-limiting illness alone.
