Support Us
Support East Lancashire Hospice as a business
There are many ways your business can support East Lancashire Hospice, and every partnership helps us continue to care for patients and their friends and family across our community.
Whether you give time, ideas or funding, working with us is a chance to make a meaningful impact, engage your team, support your local community and generate positive PR for your business.
Ways your business can get involved:
Choose us as your Charity of the Year
Choosing East Lancashire Hospice as your Charity of the Year brings your team together, makes a meaningful impact, boosts morale and has a positive impact in your local community.
Supporting the Hospice as your Charity of the Year doesn’t mean you have to make a donation; your employees could spend time volunteering at the Hospice, or organise fundraising events and challenges.
Enterprise Heroes Scheme
Perfect for smaller businesses, our Enterprise Heroes Scheme is designed for companies that may not have the capacity to volunteer, fundraise or make large donations.
By donating just £1 per day – £365 across the year – your business can support the Hospice in a simple, affordable way. In return, you’ll receive a framed Enterprise Heroes certificate to display in your premises. A small commitment, with a big difference.
Corporate Challenge
One of our biggest and most popular corporate events, the Corporate Challenge, is a key date in the calendar for many local businesses.
Businesses are each given £50; they then have six months to compete against each other, turning it into as much money as possible for the Hospice. The challenge runs from April to September, ending with our prestigious awards afternoon, where the winning team is presented with a trophy.
It’s competitive, creative, and a lot of fun – all while supporting vital hospice care.
Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving is a simple, tax-efficient way for employees to support East Lancashire Hospice.
Employees donate a portion of their salary directly each month, making a difference with very little effort or administration. It’s a powerful way to give regularly and sustainably.
Lottery
Your business can offer a benefit to employees while supporting the community by enrolling them in the Hospice Weekly Lottery from just £1 per week. Employees will be entered into a weekly draw, and could win up to £10,000.
A weekly contribution that boosts team morale, supports your local community and adds a little excitement along the way.
Sponsorship Opportunities
We offer sponsorship opportunities across our events throughout the year. In return, your business will receive free places at the sponsored event, positive PR and brand exposure, and company branding across event marketing materials.
It’s a great way to raise your business’s profile while supporting care that truly matters.
Cause-related Giving
Cause-related giving allows your business to donate a percentage of the profit from the sale of a product or service to East Lancashire Hospice. This raises funds for the Hospice and strengthens your brand’s presence. Good for your brand, great for our patients.
Matching Gifts
Our Matching Gifts scheme helps double the impact of your employees’ generosity. Your business matches the charitable donations made by staff, instantly increasing the funds raised for hospice care. Double the donation, double the impact.
Ambassador Scheme
Our Ambassador Scheme is one of our most prestigious corporate partnerships.
Ambassadors are recognised on our Ambassador Wall at the Hospice and receive a plaque to display in their workplace. There are three different tiers available: Bronze – £3,000, Silver – £5,000, and Gold – £8,000.
Ambassador benefits include prominent recognition and PR, exclusive event invitations, free places at our events, and access to our networking events and opportunities. You can view all of our current Ambassadors here.
Becoming an Ambassador reflects your organisation’s commitment to East Lancashire Hospice and the community we care for.
Make a Donation
Your donation helps East Lancashire Hospice be there for our patients and their friends and family when they need us most.
We receive just one third of our funding from the government, so we rely on the generosity of our community to help us raise over £4.5 million each year. Every gift, big or small, helps us provide specialist care and support and focus on what matters most.
