David McDonough - Trustee

David spent his 30 plus years career in the NHS, having first trained in 1981 as a Learning Disability Nurse.  Once qualified David worked in community nursing teams throughout Blackburn, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley before progressing to the role of Associate Director for Community Services for Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Primary Care Trust.

More recently David became Operations Director for East Lancashire Primary Care Trust Provider Unit until he retired in 2011 following which he spent a couple of years working on a consultancy basis for East Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group.
