Sheenagh Scott
"My sister Sheenagh was diagnosed with cancer when she was just 39, around the time a close friend of ours who died of cancer was a patient at the hospice. Sheenagh joined a support group at the hospice and made many friends who she stayed in touch with. Over the years some of these friends passed away - some of them very young. While attending these groups both Sheenagh and myself could see the fantastic care the hospice provides to the patients and their families. Their holistic approach is second to none. When Sheenagh was admitted to the hospice the care from all the doctors, nurses and volunteers was superb - not just for Sheenagh but for ourselves. We were always made to feel welcome. We will always be grateful for the care shown by the hospice."
