One of the most profound and impactful ways you can help East Lancashire Hospice to support people with life-limiting illness and their loved ones is by leaving us a gift in your Will. Your decision to leave a legacy isn't just about assets and finances; it's about leaving behind a legacy of compassion in your lifetime.

Why Leave a Legacy? 

Even if you are not in a position to make a donation now, by leaving us a gift in your Will you can show your long term support, and help us ensure we are there for more people in the future who need us. 

How Your Legacy Will Make a Difference

To offer all of our services to our community, we need to raise £4million a year. Our services are provided completely free of charge to everyone who needs them within Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley. 

Your legacy will support in the future of East Lancashire Hospice and the development of our services to meet with the demands of hospice care in community. 

Ways to Leave a Legacy

Our services are unique to each patient, and your decision to leave a gift in your Will is unique to you. You could choose to leave a set amount, or a percentage of your estate. It’s totally up to you how you leave a gift to East Lancashire Hospice, but every penny will be well spent to continue to support our patients in making the most of life.

• No matter what stage of the Legacy process, we will deal with you and your next of kin with sensitivity and compassion.
• We will endeavour to make sure your final wishes are carried out.
• If you chose to remain anonymous we will ensure that happens. Alternatively, if your family or loved ones would like to hear how your gift is helping the hospice, we’ll keep in touch with them in whatever way they choose.
• Although we can’t offer you legal advice, we will provide you with carefully chosen expert partners to assist in writing your Will and to help you put your wishes into place.
