regardless of shape or size! Our Curves @ Kates Bridal Room collection offers dresses to order available to try on in sizes 14-36. Dignity still in tact, stood in a dress that fits, we offer honest advice. Kates Bridal room is not just a shop, its more like a sanctuary for the curvy bride to be who is just to afraid of either shopping, wearing a dress, being looked at or more often than not a combination of all 3!
Kate has a genuine passion as a plus size woman herself for making you the most confident version of yourself on your wedding day.
Why is your business a supporter of East Lancashire Hospice?
I have been aware of East Lancashire Hospice for as long as I can remember but last year my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and Dementia on top of already having Parkinson's. I had no idea how much support was offered by the hospice to patients and their families and wanted to give back. He visits each week along with my mum and they really feel part of a wider family all fighting their own battles. It's an emotional rollercoaster adjusting to a diagnosis but I know as a family we have somewhere to turn. I can't thank the team at ELH enough.
What does being an Enterprise Hero mean to you?
It means as a small business I can show my gratitude and support to the huge team at ELH for being a so incredible. Knowing that the team is mainly made up by volunteers suggests they are the heroes not me!
Why should other Companies become an Enterprise Hero?
Its a fantastic way to support a charity that is massively underfunded but will probably touch the lives of someone they know! We have met brides and their families who have or are still attending ELH and I'm betting everyone has a least one customer that is the same! Show some support to this wonderful place, arrange a visit and just see for yourself the incredible work that goes on. I have a feeling you'll be surprised!
