Gill Leacy - Trustee

Gill spent her career in teaching and undertook her teacher training in Chorley before moving on to run a Nursery Unit in an Infant School in Accrington. 

For the majority of Gill’s working life, she was Head of a Nursery School in Bacup and Rawtenstall which catered for pupils aged between 3 and 5 years and it was here that Gill developed close links with Derian House as well as Reedley Hall Child Development Centre in Burnley.

Gill later went on to volunteer for the hospice.
