Hours - 37.5   (These will be worked across a 7-day working week)

Salary - £24,570

This post involves regular, direct unsupervised access to vulnerable adults and therefore is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974

East Lancs Hospice

East Lancashire Hospice is a registered charity, founded in 1984. We support and care for patients with a life limiting illness, their families and others close to them. We provide this in a number of ways; at the hospice and in people’s own homes across our community of Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.

With approximately 120 employees and over 250 volunteers, our people are our biggest asset whom we value tremendously. Fundraising Assistant
East Lancashire Hospice is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our fundraising team as a Fundraising Assistant; this is a temporary role for 12 months. In this role, you will provide vital support to the wider Income Generation Team and contribute to the success of our fundraising initiatives with support to other within the team, as well as support through your own ideas.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills and confident in building and maintaining professional relationships. They will work well in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues across the fundraising and data team and manage workload effectively.

What we offer

This role is full time (37.5hrs a week) and the salary is £24,570. There will be opportunities to hybrid work when necessary, but the role will be mainly office based working with the Income Generation team.
