Elektots cycle

Charlotte and Carl Knowles, directors of Darwen electrical company Elektec, part of Greenarc, have organised a sponsored bike ride to raise money for us.

The couple’s children – known as ‘Elektots’ decided that they wanted to support the hospice and came up with the bike ride idea by themselves.

Betsy Knowles aged 3, Walter Knowles aged 4 and Ralph Knowles aged 6 will ride along Blackpool promenade in July.

Six-year-old Ralph said: “We want to raise money so the hospice can keep helping people."

Leanne Green, Head of Fundraising at the hospice said, “Charlotte and Carl are great supporters of the hospice and it is so lovely to see that they are carrying their support on through the family.

"The elektots are not shy of fundraising for the hospice, with Ralph previously raising money through using his artistic skills and Betsy and Walter promoting the hospice with their videos.”

“Having a family support us, as well as their business really shows how much people understand the importance of East Lancashire Hospice and we really do appreciate everything the Elektots and Charlotte and Carl do for us.

"We wish them all the best with their bike ride and cannot wait to celebrate their achievements with them.”
