Return of the Starlight Memories Walk

One of East Lancashire Hospice’s most historic events is back!

Join us on Saturday 9th May 2026 for an unforgettable evening of remembrance and community spirit.

Event Details:

• Location: East Lancashire Hospice Garden, Park Lee Rd, Blackburn, BB2 3NY
• Entertainment Starts: 7:00 PM
• Walk Begins: 9:00 PM 
• Route: 5-mile walk through Blackburn

Walk alongside our community to celebrate the lives of loved ones who have sadly died. This special evening begins in the hospice garden with live entertainment to get the event really going, plus the chance to purchase light-up merchandise so you look the part on the walk and refreshments before setting off.

• Event T-shirt with space to write who you’re walking in memory of (adults and children from 6+)
• Memory lantern to write who you're walking in memory of (adults and children from 6+)
• Hot beverage and sandwich at Café Retreat upon your return

Registration Fees

• Adults: £20
• Children: £10 (Children under 6 FREE)
• Family of 4: £55

Your registration fee helps cover the cost of running this event. To make the biggest impact, we kindly ask each participant to raise individual sponsorship to support patient care in our community.
