Salary - WTE £24,570 Pro rata - £13,104

This post involves regular, direct unsupervised access to vulnerable adults and therefore is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
Corporate Support Services Administrator
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Corporate Support Services for a part-time administrator. This post will work with the Head of Corporate Support Services to provide a wide range of general administrative support. The Corporare Support Services office is the hub of the hospice with a constant stream of people needing help and support.
The Successful Candidate
The individual will support the Head of Corporate Support Services to provide a wide range of general administrative support, working with staff and volunteer’s hospice wide. You must be a people person, proactive, enthusiastic and a welcoming positive person who is happy to take the lead and get things done, be an organiser by nature and have the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise your own workload daily. You must have a substantial amount of complex administration experience, good communication skills with the ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality when required, and be able to work independently and efficiently.
East Lancs Hospice
East Lancashire Hospice is a registered charity, founded in 1984. We support and care for patients with a life limiting illness, their families and others close to them. We provide this in a number of ways; at the hospice and in people’s own homes across our community of Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.
With approximately 120 employees and over 250 volunteers, our people are our biggest asset whom we value tremendously. Our services to the local community would not be possible without our motivated and caring workforce who always strive to deliver excellence in all that they do. The hospice is a unique and special place, kindness and compassion are qualities that run throughout the hospice and our people truly believe in what we do.
What we offer
The salary for this role is £13,104 pro rata working 20 hours (across 3 days - Tuesday 12pm-5pm, Thursday & Friday -9am-5pm) / flexibly to meet the needs of the Hospice.
