Kind-hearted Linda Dobson celebrated her 70th birthday in style as she shaved off her lovely locks to raise thousands of pounds for East Lancashire Hospice with five of her friends at her local, The Railway Pub in Huncoat.

Linda Dobson is about to prove that she’s a cut above the rest – by having her head shaved to mark her 70th birthday for charity.

Mum-of-one Amanda was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer after the disease returned for the second time. She started accessing the hospice’s services after being given just three years to live.

Two little boys will always be able to hold their mum close – after creating patchwork cushions made from their late mum’s clothing.
