Local Solicitors Fundraise for Hospice
Local solicitors put pen to paper in aid of the hospice.
In October 2020, Farleys Solicitors LLP private client team kindly participated in East Lancashire Hospice’s Will Week. The local solicitors scrapped their standard Will writing fee to all of their clients and asked for donations to be made to the hospice. In total, £1,000 was raised as a result of their generosity.
Phil Taylor, Partner in Farley’s private client team commented, “We were delighted to have been able to support East Lancashire Hospice with their Will scheme. We know it’s been a challenging year, particularly for charities whose fundraising has been impacted by numerous lock downs and government restrictions.
“In a time where more and more people are looking to update their wills and create new ones in order to provide for their families, should the worst happen, we were happy to offer our time in exchange for these vital funds for East Lancashire Hospice. We would like to thank our clients for their donations.”
The donations were gratefully received by the hospice and will help to boost funds after being negatively affected by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
