Café Retreat offers outside catering

Café Retreat offer a wide range of catering services including outside catering.

Enquires often come from customers who have enjoyed their visit to Café Retreat during the week and are often repeated once they have sampled the service.

The team catered for the husband of a former patient recently. After catering for the funeral with a buffet for a 120 people, they were asked to provide the food for his 80th birthday celebration at St Mark’s Club in Witton on Saturday 30th April

Ashley Walsh, one of the chefs, explained the importance of the service.

“All food is prepared using fresh ingredients and we always offer vegan and vegetarian options to suit all guests’ needs. We offer a complete service from personalising your menu to delivering and serving food to our guests at your event.”

This might sound similar to any other high end catering service until you realise that the event is staffed by volunteers who give up their time freely and all profits go directly to the East Lancashire Hospice and the continued care of patients and their families.

Ashley continued, “So many of our customers use our services because they have met us, and know us from their regular visits to Café Retreat. They feel like we are family, and know that at the same time they are supporting the hospice at the same time.

“We can cater for any event from 10 to 300 guests, and prepare food at your request, whether it is a buffet, or trays of pies, and with volunteers, like Kerry and Jean who helped last weekend, you can be assured you will be cared for with a smile.”
