Volunteers and staff at the Brunswick Street warehouse in Blackburn are celebrating reaching a birthday milestone today – over £500,000 has been taken since the doors were opened in 2010!
The warehouse is a hub for donations and an outlet for selling larger items like suites, furniture, electricals and other household goods. Like all the shops is run largely by kind volunteers who have given a whopping 67,000 hours to keep the warehouse ticking over in the past 6 years. A huge big thank you goes out to them for their continued dedication and support.
Here’s to many more successful years – and the next half a million!
Celebrating are (l-r) volunteers Frank Morris, Ronnie Smith, van driver Terry Ackeroyd, and volunteers David Bedford and Paul Wallwork.
