East Lancashire Hospice

Three Peaks Challenge

Toni and husband, Kenny Duce, will be putting on their walking boots to raise money for East Lancashire Hospice.

toni and kenny Toni and Kenny are going to be taking on the three peaks challenge in April 2021 to help raise much needed funds for patients in our community. After great discussion whether the couple were to do the challenge as a bit of fun, mainly to change Kenny’s mind on walking being ‘boring’, they decided they would give it a purpose and choose their local hospice to raise money for.

The couple, who live in Darwen, are friends of the Mayoh family, who you may remember as – The boys in shorts! Tom and Jack Mayoh are friends of Toni and Kenny’s children and Kenny coaches the boys at football.

Toni said, “My husband is Tom and Jack’s football coach and we are good friends with their dad, Gareth, so we know how important East Lancs Hospice is and how much they rely on support from donations. If we can raise even just a small amount to help, we will be very happy.” They have both started their training for the challenge with a snowy walk up Darwen Tower.

dtowerThey will be joined by good friends Craig and Leigh Walsh and are hoping to get some more friends on board with the three peaks to raise money for local charities.

Toni and Kenny’s will be raising money via Just Giving and if you would like to donate to their page and help them raise money for East Lancashire Hospice, please visit - https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/toni-duce
