40 Years Today, £40 to Stay

Make a donation in honour of our 40th anniversary; your donation ensures we can provide our vital services for another 40 years.

Each year, East Lancashire Hospice has to raise more than £4 million to continue to provide our vital services free of charge to our patients and their families living with life-limiting illnesses in Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn & the Ribble Valley.

By donating £40, you could provide any of the following sessions to our patients; relaxing Complementary Therapy, Creative and Support Therapies, essential Counselling, nutritious meals on our Inpatient Unit or night stays with a Hospice at Home Healthcare Assistant.

Donating £40 could help to keep our charity shops open, which provide much needed income to East Lancashire Hospice. £40 could contribute towards providing Physiotherapy sessions to our patients or could support a therapeutic Bathing experience. Your donation could help families with essential Bereavement support, or could contribute towards a relaxing Sound Bath for our patients, aiding mental wellbeing. £40 could support our Community Nurse Specialists in providing specialist palliative care to patients in our community.

If 20 people donate £40 each, it will cover the cost of one patient’s specialised palliative care for an entire say on our Inpatient Unit.
