Pauline Quinn - Trustee
Pauline Quinn OBE joined East Lancashire Hospice in 2004 as a Trustee, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and support.
Pauline was a dedicated midwife devoting herself to those in her care, she qualified as a Registered Nurse in Liverpool before completing her training to become a Certified Midwife, and worked her way through the ranks before retiring from her position as Head of Women and Children’s Service for East Lancashire Hospital Trust.
She was well known and highly respected in her field and was awarded an OBE for her services to midwifery. Pauline was a lady who gave her time freely to others and was always on hand to help out anyone in need. She was the former Vice Chair at East Lancashire Hospice and a dedicated volunteer at Victim Support and Women’s Aid as well as being on the board at The Wish Centre and chair of The Great Harwood Medical Group’s Patient Participation Group. She was much loved and respected for her dedication and enthusiasm.
Pauline died in May 2024 leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire us and her memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
